Today we woke up a little late (almost 8 am). We are still getting over our jet lag and the roosters wake us up quite early. But last night we wore ear plugs and slept till 8ish. After breakfast we bought bus tickets, dropped off our laundry at a laundry place and went for a walk.
The youth center we are volunteering with gave us a map of the area with some interesting places to see. One of those places was simply called "big tree" so we had to know. We walked over to it (it is in a town called Peliatan) and couldn't find anything. Disappointed we walked home to get ready to teach.
When we teach we have two classes which run for 1.5 hours each. Today went a lot more smoothly then last time. This time we were briefed a few minutes ahead as to what these kids had done already.
And that brings us to now. We are about to go out to dinner with the volunteers. Tomorrow we go to the beach!!!!!!!
